今天下午12点多，我的老板娘就告诉我，1点就有新传媒新闻来教研中心访问。我一听到就问是真的吗？我的老板娘说是真的，我但然是非常兴奋啦。。

自从6月1日开始，我的公司教研中心就开始给老师培训课程。而我又负责给老师上下午的点心(teabreak) ，我是的确非常的忙，感觉是我的当口，每天上午一到公司，放下背包，开电脑，然后就开当口了。但老师吃完点心后，我和清洁工人就帮忙收拾了。收拾完后，又要准备下午的点心了。这个持续每天都一样，一直到6月30日才完，真的是好累，但我还是很满足。

新传媒新闻报道，不同的学校在教授华文时，都会遇到不同的困难，而为了帮助老师因材施教，新加坡华文教研中心的讲师，针对个别学校的需求，上门为学校量身打造培训课程。

协和小学的老师在教课时发现，小一学生升上二年级后，因为华文课程教材、程度差别太大、难以掌握，类似情况也发生小五学生身上。为学校提供差异教学课程的新加坡华文教研中心讲师，在了解情况后，修改了课程重点。

新加坡华文教研中心高级讲师刘美说：“有的校群是组合了所有主任来上课，他们的目的是希望我们能够介绍差异教学的基本概念。我主要是导入一些理论的观念，但是在协和，我就会针对他们的需求从教材入手，然后是老师之间的对话沟通。”

自三月以来，教研中心已经为16所学校提供具有针对性的专项课程。

协和小学华文部级主任林芳燕说：“以前的课涉及的内容是比较泛的，这个是针对我们教学的内容，我觉得在实际运用方面对我们非常有帮助。”

协和小学华文老师表示：“我们先了解课本的特点，然后了解学生学习的难点，再从难点上看要怎样简化，帮助他们掌握知识。”

除了专项课程之外，教研中心还提供54门在职培训课程，除了传统的教学法和文学课之外，一些课程还结合了戏剧和资讯科技。

新加坡华文教研中心院长陈之权说：“基本上是一种各取所需的形式，老师觉得有哪一方面的需要，那中心这方面可以给一些满足让他们提升，那他们就可以到我们的中心来上课。

教研中心希望通过提供优质的课程，来提升教师的教学素养和教学能力。

新加坡证实本地第一宗H1N1病例

新加坡出现第一起H1N1病例.
请各位特别留意报道：

我国确诊第一例甲型H1N1流感个案，病患是一名22岁的新加坡女性，5月14日-24日在纽约逗留，于5月26日早上6时30分乘坐SQ25航班从纽约返回新加坡。

病患在飞机上已开始咳嗽，但因当时未出现发热症状而顺利通过了热量扫描器。之后她到普通科医生（GP）处就诊，鉴于她的出行记录，医生决定将其转送陈笃生医院（TTSH）。26日午夜，检测结果确诊其感染甲型H1N1流感。

我国卫生部已在追踪与病患有密切接触的人员，并呼吁与该病患搭乘同架航班、坐在52-58排之间的旅客拨打热线1800-333 9999。

Singapore has confirmed its first case of Influenza A (H1N1-2009). The patient is currently being treated at the Communicable Disease Centre at Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) and is in stable condition.

The patient is a 22 year-old Singaporean female who was in New York from May 14- 24. She arrived back in Singapore from New York on SQ25 (Seated at Row 55)on 26 May at 06.30hrs. She began to develop a cough while onboard. She passed the thermal scanner uneventfully as she did not have fever then. Later in the morning, she consulted a GP who decided to send her to TTSH via a 993 ambulance, given her travel history. She was immediately admitted for testing. Laboratory confirmation of her infection was made by midnight of 26 May.

The patient has been vigilant in monitoring her own condition and had sought immediate medical attention once she realized that she was unwell. Her attending GP, through his quick response in activating the 993 ambulance for the patient, had also helped to minimize the spread of infection from this case.

In the press release, it is stated that MOH have initiated contact tracing of her close contacts. They will be quarantined and provided with antiviral prophylaxis. Passengers who had travelled in the same flight and were seated in rows 52 to 58 are urged to call the hotline at 1800- 333 9999 to enable MOH to check on their health condition.

MOH is monitoring the situation closely and will update the public should there be any new developments.

文：阿斯巴甜（含苯丙氨酸），屬於一種代糖，經常使用在低糖飲料當中。
一種約比蔗糖甜200倍的甜味劑
代糖已經被認為成一種神經毒素，損害神經系統，故這些症狀主要與神經系統有關。
一些常見的與代糖有關的症狀為
頭痛，記憶力衰退，癲癇，視力消失，昏迷及腫瘤。
代糖更可使以下疾病加重或導致類似這些疾病的症狀，
比如︰纖維性肌痛，多發性硬化，系統性紅斑狼瘡，多動症，
糖尿病，老年性或早老性痴呆，慢性疲勞綜合症和憂鬱症。
研究已證明代糖能釋放自由甲醇。長期甲醇的毒性可影響腦中的多巴胺系統而導致上癮。
甲醇又稱木醇，占代糖的1/3，此物質己被劃為嚴重的代謝性毒物和麻醉劑。
最近的新聞中，經常有關於世界級運動員和其它健康人仕在服用代糖後猝死的報導，其原因與代糖損害心臟的傳導系統有關。
研究發現，代糖'阿斯巴甜'（Aspartame）會過度刺激或干擾神經末梢，增加肌肉緊張，而引發偏頭疼。
而低糖可樂、低糖汽水、無糖口香糖、冰淇淋、綜合維他命和許多成藥中都含有阿斯巴甜。
所以對代糖過敏的人，只要啜飲一小口低糖汽水，就會引發頭痛。

顾百里教授专题讲座和华文教研中心对话会 at MOELC Bishan

今天下午一点多，我公司全部的员工都去MOELC Bishan (Ministry Of Education Learning Centre)。因为有一位贵宾从美国来的教授来讲座（顾百里教授 Professor Kubler），培训全校的华文老师，就如小学，中学，初级学院和教育部的老师。他真的很厉害，听说他身从在加拿大，十八岁时就去美国读华文，现在是教授。他说的华文非常流利，我很敬佩他。

今天的项目从2.30pm - 5.30pm。我从两点就在柜台等老师来登记，我负责初级学院和教育部的老师的名单，还有负责收会反缋表 (Feedback Form)。我还亲自做了一个箱子，来放反缋表呢。

该不该放弃这十年的友情。。。。

十年前的我才十七岁，我真在读ITE Jurong的第一年，我认识这位跟我同班的男性同学。我们同班也有两年，刚开始我们不是很熟，后来慢慢我们就大成一片。在第二年，我们就有很多project要做，而他有些project不会做，我乐意帮他跟他一起做project，但不知不觉我们就是好朋友咯。。有些同学还以为他是男朋友呢。。
在读ITE Jurong的两年内，我已经谈了三次恋情，但不是跟他咯。。我知道他对我好感，但我对他一点好感都没有，我只是把他当成好朋友而已。

两年毕月后，我就在社会上做工了，而他continue for further studies，我不能further studies因为我家庭背景很穷。虽然我们各自走各的，但我们还是经常有联络，一直到现在。

最近这几个月，我开始越来越讨厌他了。虽然他的年龄比我大两岁，但让我感觉他的试想才十三或十四岁咯。
在这个月内，我已经责骂他两次了。第一次是两周前，而昨天我又责骂他了。这次，我责骂他很够立，或须我已经伤了他的自尊心吧。。我骂他“你没有男人的自尊心，没有原则，你算不算男人啦”。后来我想一想我好像伤了他的自尊心，因为但是的我非常生气。

男士们，你们觉得我有没有伤了他的自尊心呢？？

我很后悔说了那番话，深为朋友因该是鼓励他而不是责骂他，不是吗？

我从来没这么骂过伤人的话，即使我的前男友，我也没骂得那么够立。虽然我已经骂了，我很希望他能够清新过来。。现在的我很想放弃这十年的友情，因为我觉得他领我太失望了，很想让他独立。每次他碰到困难，我就帮他解决问题，让他感觉他有依赖性，所以现在很想让他独立。

你们觉得我因该放弃这十年的友情还是在继续鼓励他呢？？

这个问题我想了很久，该不该写在部落格呢，最后还是写了，因为很想听大家的意见。。

昨天下午2点，我们集在武吉百督的卡拉ok 庆祝我和爱玲(Irene How)的生日会。
我非常高兴，我也很感激你们帮我庆祝生日, 也谢谢你们送给我的生日礼物。

你们送给我的生日礼物，我全部都喜欢，非常的谢谢。

虽然昨天已经过了两天，但我还是很高兴。

今年我的阳历生日刚好是星期四 (16/10), 农历是星期五（九月十九日）。

这两天，我也没什么庆祝，因为公司忙，我也得加班，只是吃个晚餐，然后就回家。

Afamosa Malacca Trip on 2-4 Sept 2008

Last Tuesday (2/9/08), my family and I were going for a 3D2N Malacca trip. We went from Tuesday to Thursday. Everybody must be surprised right, how come I no work can go for holiday ma... I actually take 3 days Unpaid leave as I not a confirmation staff at new working place..

This date was not chose by me. It was chose by my younger sister as she had a week school holiday. She is a full-time teacher in primary school, that why she had holiday. At the same time, it was her boyfriend birthday so we celebrated together.

I am not sure whether it was the time for going holiday. First, my hubby was sick (having fever, flu and cough) before the trip but he still managed to go. Then followed by my younger sister's boyfriend, he maybe kena food poison, he vomited and having bad diarrhea. After that followed by me, my stomach not feeling well and also gastric at the same time. Lucky, my mum and my younger sister were healthy.

Even though we not feeling well, but we still enjoy 3 days trip.

Last Saturday (5/7/08), I went to Marina Bay to watch Singapore National Day Parade (NDP '08) even though National Day is on next month 9th of Aug. My friend who is partipating this year NDP have 2 tickets for me to watch.

Thanks my friend for letting me watch the NDP Preview Show. My last watching of NDP show was few years ago. On that day, I was very excited to watch the show again.

We were encouraged to dress in RED on that day and we needed to be seated by 4.45pm. My hubby and I were reached at 4.45pm then we go and queued up to take the goodies bag. After that, we went to look for our seat by that time was 5pm.

On 28th of May, Ms Jessica is her last day and me is actually a year in Demeter. Feel sad to hear she left. She is our senior in the company. She in company for 7 months, her first day is on 11th of Oct last year (1011). This number (1011) is our boss's car plate and also our auspicious day on the company because we had extended our company in 2 units #03-155 and #03-154.

Anyway, we wish Ms Jessica all the best wishes in her new company.

Yesterday, I had tender my resignation letter to my HR manager. My last day is on end of Jun.

My new working place is at Woodlands Industrial Park E5 and 1st of Jul is my first working day.

I feel sad to leave the company but i intend to explore more of myself so i decided to leave.

I will keep contact to all my colleagues and I wish all the colleagues in Demeter all the Best and take care!

Last Friday after work, we met at clark quay mrt station. After meeting up, we walked to Central Shopping Centre to have our dinner. We ate local food at 2nd level. The service was very bad, we waited almost an hour to get our food. By the time, we ate finish was almost 9plus. Thanks Vincent for the dinner treat.

Then we walked to BQ Bar at Boat Quay to look for Paul (where we knew him at phuket trip), but too bad we can't able to search the BQ bar, we kept walked and walked, walked until about almost half an hour. Halfway when we needed to cross the road, we saw xiaomei jane then we stopped her, asked her to join us for the drink. Finally, when we reached the bar was about 10pm.

We saw the bar it was crowded by alot of peoples especially foreigner peoples. I was so surprised. Then we looked for Paul, he was with his colleagues and his friends. We took a seat and order drinks. I drank oranges juices as i do not know how to drink alcohol. Surprise right, go bar no drink alcohol... hehe..

Then we drink and chat and also take some photos. Above had some photos taken on that day.

About 11pm, we dismissed the BQ Bar, left with Irene, Vincent, Paul and his friends. Although we left early, we still happy and enjoyed... :-)

Thanks Paul for the invitation... We will remember you... Enjoy your holiday...

清明节

清明节是什么？为什么每当阳历4月5日，每个家家户户都会到坟场去拜拜？

清明节就是拜祭祖先和我们死去的亲戚的节日，所以每当每年的阳历4月5日，或许在十天前或十天后，每个家家户户都会到坟场去拜拜。

今年的清明节在阳历4月4日，原因是今年阳历有2月29日，所以提早一天。

上周六阳历3月29日，我们一家人和我的亲戚一起去坟场拜拜了。我们早上6.15，就起床了。7.05am我们就出门了，去蔡厝港的坟场拜祭我的外公，外婆和舅公。我们拜了3个地方都已经将近11am了，然后将去jurong point吃点东西，然后在去aljunied的坟场拜祭我的大姨。拜完了，我们去sin ming road的自度安拜祭我的爸爸和三舅，拜完都已经要3pm了，终于拜祭完了，大家都很累了。然后，每个吃了东西就回家了。

昨天下午，我跟我的先生和他的家人一起去aljunied的坟场拜祭他的爸爸和婆婆。拜完了，我们去circuit road吃晚餐，然后就回家了。

这就是我今年度过的清明节日。

On Last Thursay (20 March 2008), after my work, my Dear come to IMM to fetch me to attend his autoscan colleague's Jason wedding dinner at Holiday Inn. We reached there around 7.45pm.

The dinner was not start yet, even his colleagues some haven't reach, only his boss and his supervisor reached. At about 8.15pm, his dept colleagues arrived. We had a nice chat with his colleagues.

At 8.30pm, the ceremony was started and followed by the dinner. We chat and enjoy the dinner very much... At about 11pm, the dinner was end.

Dear my friends,

First of all, wish everyone in Malaysians, Happy Belated National Day as yesterday 31 Aug is Malaysia National Day!!!
Second, wish all teachers in Singapore, Happy Teacher's Day as today 1 Sep is Teachers' Day!!!

Time flies very fast.... left 4 months then going end 2007 n coming up 2008..... Haiz....
We are going to start older and older le.... so hope everybody must treasure every min and sec.... once gone cannot be turn back....

Very fast, i have been working in my new company (Demeter) for 3 months le n i have been confirmed staff. I very happy with my job now only sometime will be stress with my work.
Yesterday nite, i go bowling with my boss n all my colleagues at Warren Country Club at Choa Chu Kang. Very sad, i not really know how to play bowling so i kept mostly wash the drain, only got 1 time strike all. Never mind, i will try my best in next time.

My company have this planning of mysterious by every end of the month to release our stress. This is my first time that i have been working last few years that it has this facilities. Last month during end of the month, we go ktv (party world) at chinatown. Yesterday, we go play bowling. Next month, not sure yet, still planning...

Today is weekend le.... most of the people will be very happy coz no need to work n no need to be stress le.... Hope everybody can enjoy the weekend and those who have family must spend more time with family....
